Riihi is a circular economy platform rooted in South Ostrobothnia, a predominantly rural region in Finland, with a particular focus on local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The platform brings together circular economy knowledge, expertise, practical tools and project outputs developed by Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SEAMK), other organizations and collaborative projects in Finland and internationally.

Through Riihi, SEAMK aims to make research-based knowledge and practical tools more accessible and to strengthen communication and knowledge sharing on future-proof and sustainable business development in the region.

While primarily serving businesses and other stakeholders in South Ostrobothnia, Riihi also shares resources and highlights circular economy initiatives, organizations and events for audiences in Finland and internationally.
